HelpDiabetes: The Carb Counter Application for Managing Blood Glucose Levels
HelpDiabetes is a free lifestyle application developed by HippoAndFriends for Android 9.0 devices. This carb counter application comes with a food database that helps you to keep your blood glucose level on track. The app allows you to measure and enter ingredient data or select from predefined serving sizes. It generates a grand total for carbohydrates, fat, protein, and kcal. It also calculates an estimate of the amount of insulin needed based on your carb-insulin ratios.
One of the unique features of HelpDiabetes is its availability in multiple languages. The food composition tables are available in English USDA, English Norway, English Denmark, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, French, Spanish, Czech, and Romanian. In addition to tracking your daily food intake, the app also allows you to track your blood glucose levels, insulin, and other medication. You can also track your sport and other activities, and search the log to recall and reuse meals from log and/or templates. The app even lets you adjust the food composition database and add to it. It supports both US (mg/dl) and international units (mmol/l).
